What is Pressed Flowers Art Jamming?

Pressed-flower art jamming is a floral art session inspired by Oshibana (押し花), the 16th-century Japanese art of creating compositions using pressed flowers and botanical materials.

In this session, you will create your own botanical artwork in a glass frame using real flowers that have been carefully preserved in the studio.

Step 1: Pick your presssed flowers

Choose from a curated selection of pressed flowers, all carefully preserved in the studio. From familiar bouquet blooms to seasonal varieties, you’ll be spoilt for choice as you pick the flowers that best reflect your style.

Step 2: Compose Your Artwork

Choose your frame size and explore different composition styles, from botanical and bouquet-inspired layouts to more freeform arrangements.

Create at your own pace and in your own style, shaping real pressed blooms into a botanical artwork that brings a touch of nature into your space.

Step 3: Assemble & Frame

Once your composition is complete, we will guide you in assembling and framing your artwork so you leave with a finished pressed flower art piece to enjoy or gift.
